Top Landscape Photography of the Year
Grand Rapids Landscape and Architecture Photographer
Sadly, most of these photos were taken before the month of March, when our unwelcome friend Miss Rona came calling. I hope to go traveling as soon as it is safe. For now enjoy some of the selections from this years travel photos!
One of the big things I am going to miss since moving back to Michigan are all the great photo landscape photography groups in Denver. Getting up at the crack of dawn to go grab a gorgeous sunrise over the mountains was always breathtaking and life affirming.
One of my favorite landscape photography groups, the Metro Denver Photography Group, led by the awesome Bob Coorsen was the last group photo shoot I was able to participate in before the lockdown. The Garden of the Gods was covered in a thick layer of fog that morning. We stuck it out and our patience paid off with the most spectacular sunrise.
I also finally scheduled a landscape photography trip to see Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. My friend Randall and I decided to go in the off season in late February. One of the most amazing trips. We captured so many great landscape photos. We rounded off the trip by hitting Salt Lake City and the Bonneville Salt Flats. Mixing in a bunch of city and architecture photography with some of the landscape photos.
I cannot wait to do this trip again. So many photo opportunities! Here is to 2021 and the many trips we get to take after missing out in 2020.
